Help D15 Pack The Bus!
Dear D15 Families, Staff, and Community,
Between now and when we leave for winter break, District 15 will be working to PACK THE BUS with items for our local mobile food pantry and clothing closet to stock the shelves before the new year.
For the food donations, we are partnering with Faith Feeds, a consortium of local church organizations, that hosts a mobile food pantry in our community. Many local organizations have seen a significant increase in community members attending food pantries and we are looking to help supply shelf-stable foods for this mobile food pantry which helps feed our families in the area.
For the winter clothing donations, we will be giving any new or gently used winter clothing items (jackets, mittens, snow boots, etc.) to Partners for Our Communities (POC) which has a clothing closet that supports our local community.
You can bring your shelf-stable food or winter clothing donations to one of our PACK THE BUS stops (listed below) OR you can drop them at the District Office located at 580 N 1st Bank Dr., Palatine. Before we leave for winter break, the items will be dropped off for distribution.
