Moving 15 Forward: Progress

The Moving 15 Forward plan is both complex and exciting. We are passionately committed to ensuring this project comes to fruition as seamlessly as possible and are excited to continue to share consistent updates with our community.

Thanks to our community's support, we are now repairing and restoring our facilities, updating our learning spaces, improving our student transitions from elementary schools to middle schools, transforming our junior highs to middle schools, bringing full-day kindergarten to our elementary schools, and providing students with a neighborhood or near-neighborhood education throughout their years in our district.

• Our Facilities and Maintenance team is hard at work on construction preparations.
• Our Human Resources Department is working with staff to ensure a smooth transition for any staff changes in the coming years. 
• New school boundaries, programmatic placements, and updates to busing tiers have been finalized for 2024-25.
• To accommodate the necessary construction projects, the district had to create a longer summer, and has approved the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school calendars. 
• Our business department has been working tirelessly to remain diligent stewards of our taxpayer's dollars as we implement educational and facility enhancements of Moving 15 Forward.
