Feed15
Feed15 is a Community Consolidated School District 15 initiative dedicated to combating food insecurity among its students.
The program aims to ensure that the nearly 4,000 students in the district who face food insecurity have access to nutritious meals when school is not in session, including evenings and weekends.
The initiative strengthens several critical support systems within the district:
- Weekend Meal Support: Partners with programs like Blessings in a Backpack to provide food for students to take home over the weekend.
- School Food Pantries: Supports the maintenance and operation of food pantries located directly within District 15 schools.
- Emergency Assistance: Provides immediate food support for families facing unexpected financial or personal challenges.
- Extended Access: Focuses on bridging the gap during times when school-provided breakfast and lunch programs are unavailable.
Feed15 is supported through various community fundraising efforts and partnerships
- Collaborative Efforts: The program operates in collaboration with the Northwest Suburban Council PTA/PTSA to raise funds and awareness.
- 80th Anniversary Gala: To support our commitment to feeding children, District 15 will host its 80th Anniversary Gala on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Cotillion Banquets in Palatine. This special evening will bring together families, educators, alumni, community partners, and local businesses as we celebrate 80 years of educating students while raising critical funds to support students experiencing food insecurity. We welcome support in several ways, including corporate sponsorships, table purchases, and in-kind donations for our silent auction and raffle.

- $175 feeds 1 child for 1 year—38 hunger-free weekends
- $350 feeds 2 children for 1 year—76 hunger-free weekends
- $525 feeds 3 children for 1 year—114 hunger-free weekends

80th Anniversary Gala supports Feed15
All proceeds from the 80th Anniversary Gala will benefit Feed15, our district’s initiative focused on addressing food insecurity.
Feed15 helps ensure students have access to nutritious food during the school day, on weekends, and when families need additional support.
Support from this event helps strengthen programs such as:
