    Dear District 15 Families, Staff, and Community Members,

    Last night, District 15 voters overwhelmingly approved a referendum to move our schools and our district forward. We are truly humbled by this outpouring of support that will have a meaningful impact on every student, school and community we proudly serve for decades to come. 

    On behalf of the Board of Education and myself, our sincerest thanks for your confidence, enthusiasm, and support of the Moving 15 Forward plan. This plan will be a game changer for the students and staff of District 15, and we want every resident to know that we are honored to have your trust and delighted to be Moving 15 Forward with you. 

    Please know that we do not take your support lightly. As we move from the positive vote of last evening to the realization of the Moving 15 Forward plan, we will continue to engage with our staff and community every step of the way on our soon-to-be updated Moving 15 Forward website, designed to share progress as these exciting dreams become reality.

    We would be remiss if we did not extend an additional round of thanks beyond measure to so many local residents who contributed countless hours to develop and provide feedback to improve our thinking and secure the future of quality education in District 15.

    Estimadas familias, personal y miembros de la comunidad del Distrito 15,

    Anoche, los votantes del Distrito 15 aprobaron abrumadoramente un referéndum para hacer avanzar nuestras escuelas y nuestro distrito. Nos sentimos verdaderamente humildes por este torrente de apoyo que tendrá un impacto significativo en cada estudiante, escuela y comunidad a la que servimos con orgullo en las próximas décadas. 

    En nombre de la Junta de Educación y en el mío propio, nuestro más sincero agradecimiento por su confianza, entusiasmo y apoyo al plan Moving 15 Forward. Este plan cambiará las reglas del juego para los estudiantes y el personal del Distrito 15, y queremos que todos los residentes sepan que nos sentimos honrados de tener su confianza y encantados de estar avanzando con ustedes. 

    Por favor, sepan que no tomamos su apoyo a la ligera. Referendum Ballot

  • The District 15 Board of Education unanimously adopted a resolution to place a bond referendum on the November 8, 2022 ballot. 

    Click here to view the Adoption of the Resolution providing for and requiring the submission of the proposition of issuing $93,000,000 School Building Bonds to the voters of Community Consolidated School District Number 15, Cook County, Illinois, at the general election to be held on the 8th day of November, 2022.

    The official ballot shall read:


    OFFICIAL BALLOT

    PROPOSITION TO ISSUE $93,000,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS

    (INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTERS: Mark a cross (X) in the space opposite the word indicating the way you desire to vote.)

    Shall the Board of Education of Palatine Community Consolidated School District 15, Cook County, Illinois, alter, repair and equip existing buildings and construct and equip building additions, including but not limited to improving safety and security, replacing roofs, plumbing and HVAC systems, installing energy-efficiency improvements and certain Americans with Disabilities Act compliance measures, updating classrooms, science labs, libraries, and instructional technology, and constructing improvements to establish middle schools and provide full-day kindergarten, improve sites and issue bonds of said School District to the amount of $93,000,000 for the purpose of paying the costs thereof?
