About the COVID-19 Dashboard

The COVID-19 Dashboard was developed to provide information about the impact of COVID-19 in our school communities.

** Please note: the COVID Dashboard was on hiatus during Winter Break (12/23/21-1/7/22) and Spring Break (3/21-25/2022). **
Following a review of our past year’s COVID dashboard as well as researching our neighboring district’s dashboards, we have updated District 15’s dashboard this year. Our goal in keeping the COVID dashboard is to provide our community with both timely and pertinent information regarding COVID-19 in District 15.
In an effort to streamline the dashboard, only positive cases will be displayed. Last year, the dashboard was updated daily; this year, the dashboard will have cases added as they are processed by our health services team. The dashboard will display District and school data and will differentiate elementary and junior high school cases in a weekly summary. The dashboard will not be updated on the weekends.
We removed the close contact data as that information is more relevant for contact tracing purposes internally. If a close contact is later identified as COVID-positive, the positive case numbers will reflect that additional case.
We will add SHIELD results once we start screening for those who have opted in.

Después de una revisión de nuestro tablero de COVID del año pasado, así como la investigación de los tableros de nuestros distritos vecinos, hemos actualizado el tablero del Distrito 15 este año. Nuestro objetivo al mantener el tablero de COVID es proporcionar a nuestra comunidad información oportuna y pertinente con extracto a COVID-19 en el Distrito 15.
En un esfuerzo por racionalizar el tablero, sólo se mostrarán los casos positivos. El año pasado, el tablero se actualizaba diariamente; este año, el tablero tendrá casos añadidos a medida que sean procesados por nuestro equipo de servicios de salud. El tablero mostrará los datos del Distrito y de la escuela y diferenciará los casos de primaria y junior high en un resumen semanal. El tablero no se actualizará los fines de semana.
Hemos eliminado los datos de los contactos cercanos, ya que esa información es más relevante para el rastreo de contactos a nivel interno. Si un contacto cercano se identifica más tarde como COVID-positivo, los números de casos positivos reflejarán ese caso adicional.
Nosotros añadiremos los resultados de SHIELD una vez que comencemos las pruebas de aquellos que hayan optado por ella.
