Cathy Knoblach, Lake Louise

It is with great pride that we recognize Cathy “Mrs. K” Knoblach as a May 2025 Above and Beyond honoree. Cathy has been a dedicated member of the Lake Louise community for 26 years, bringing warmth, positivity, and a deep commitment to students and staff alike.

Known for her personal touches, like welcoming new administrators with cinnamon swirl bread, Cathy consistently goes out of her way to build strong connections. She takes time to check in with colleagues, support students’ emotional needs, and celebrate positive moments within the school. Her persistence in connecting with a selectively nonverbal student this year, ultimately sparking a conversation about cookies, exemplifies her patience and heart.

Beyond her role supporting students, Cathy has also stepped up to assist the office staff, mastering tasks like writing tardy passes, answering phones, and managing student supervision when needed. She embodies flexibility and teamwork, adjusting her schedule without hesitation to meet the building’s needs.

Cathy is a strong advocate for both students and staff, offering thoughtful ideas and embracing feedback with an open mind. Her commitment to school initiatives, like embracing a 3:1 positive reinforcement goal, is just one example of her drive to grow and support a positive school culture.

Mrs. K’s genuine kindness, reliability, and dedication make her an essential part of the Lake Louise family. We are so grateful for all that she brings to our community each day, embodying why we are all  #ProudToBe15  !
