Robbie Estanislao, Sundling MS

It is with great pleasure that we recognize Robbie Estanislao, Head Custodian at Walter R. Sundling Middle School, as a December 2024 Above and Beyond honoree. Robbie has been an invaluable part of District 15, and his dedication to Sundling Middle School has truly made a lasting impact on our students, staff, and community.

Robbie is the kind of person who embodies what it means to go Above and Beyond. Whether it's ensuring the building is clean, safe, and welcoming, or jumping in to assist wherever he's needed, he consistently delivers with a positive attitude and an unwavering commitment to excellence. His attention to detail, reliability, and proactive approach have earned him the respect and admiration of everyone who crosses his path.

This past summer, Robbie’s leadership was evident as he and his team worked tirelessly to prepare the school for its transition from junior high to middle school following significant construction and changes as a result of our Moving 15 Forward initiative. He not only led the charge but worked alongside his custodial team to ensure the building was ready to welcome students and staff. His willingness to put in long hours, often without being asked, speaks volumes to his character and his dedication to making sure everything is done right.

Robbie’s efforts have helped foster a positive shift in the culture and climate of Sundling. He cares deeply about his work, and it shows in the pride he takes in ensuring that our school is a clean, safe, and welcoming space for all. His contributions may often go on behind the scenes, but they have been absolutely vital to the success and smooth operation of our school.
