Nutrition Services Staff

It is with great pride that we recognize the District 15 Nutrition Services Department as one of the May 2025 Above and Beyond honorees.

It is no easy task to serve breakfast and lunch to thousands of students every day, but our Nutrition Services team does so with consistency, care, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. From procuring, assembling, and delivering meals to preparing over 2,000 breakfasts and 6,000 lunches daily, this dedicated team keeps District 15 nourished and thriving.

Their impact goes well beyond the tray line. Through fresh fruit and vegetable bars in our elementary schools and self-serve produce stations at our middle schools, the team empowers students to make healthy choices and explore new foods in a supportive, welcoming environment. Their creativity and care help turn each cafeteria into a space where students feel seen, supported, and well-fed.

Earlier this month, we celebrated National School Lunch Hero Day, a moment that reminds us just how essential these heroes are to our school community. Today, we are proud to recognize the entire Nutrition Services Department with our Above and Beyond recognition for their essential, behind-the-scenes work that ensures every student receives the fuel they need to succeed.
