It is with great pleasure that we recognize a remarkable group of individuals who have been nominated for the Above and Beyond recognition for September 2024. This recognition is awarded to the Secretarial and Records Staff of the Student and  Educational Services Departments:

Dr. McGuffin and Dr. Edgar had this to say about their staff: “Each year, our departments achieve remarkable successes that positively impact our students, staff, and families. While the spotlight often shines on the teams that implement these initiatives, the invaluable contributions of our support staff, who manage the logistics and ensure the seamless execution of these projects, sometimes go unrecognized.

This summer, with the demands of the Moving 15 Forward initiative, our department’s secretarial and records staff demonstrated exceptional dedication and teamwork. They leveraged their collective knowledge, skills, and abilities to support the Student and Educational Services Departments, ensuring that the needs of our students, staff, and families were met with precision and care. Over the past year, and especially throughout the summer, this talented team has consistently gone above and beyond.

Their efforts were particularly crucial in the successful implementation of three out of four full-week training programs this summer. We are deeply grateful for their unwavering assistance and are proud to recognize that every successful project within our department is, in no small part, due to their dedication and support.” This nomination was proudly submitted by Dr. Tom Edgar and Dr. Mindy McGuffin.
