Corinne Jones, Director of Health Services

Corinne Jones, Director of Health Services

September 2025

The Department of Student Services and Related Services is proud to nominate Corinne Jones for recognition as a staff member who goes Above and Beyond for her service to the district and for her personal accomplishments as Director of Health Services.

In August, Corinne took a national exam containing 4 content areas: Health Appraisal and Nursing Process, Health Promotion/Disease Prevention, School Health Practice Considerations, and Professional Responsibility. The exam is so rigorous that, according to the National Board of Certified School Nurses website, in 2023, 1199 examinations were administered, and only 847 (70.6%) of candidates passed the exam. On August 1, 2025, Corinne passed the national exam, commensurately demonstrating a high level of education, clinical practice, experience, and knowledge, earning her the achievement of being named a Nationally Certified School Nurse. Earning this credential validates Corinne's skills and knowledge and recognizes her commitment to student and school safety.

At the District level, Corinne advanced to her current position of Director of Health Services in November of last year. Since that time, she has distinguished herself as an administrator through her collaborative leadership of the health services department. Corinne is always championing our Certified School Nurses and School Nurses who provide skilled care for the health, wellness, and safety of our students, staff,  and community.  She is resourceful in developing community connections and building support and relationships to maintain and bring vital programs for vision, dental, and soon to be immunization clinics for our students. Her boundless energy, combined with her care and concern for the greater good of all, benefits the students, staff, and community of D15 each and every day.

Corinne, thank you for your leadership and congratulations on your new credential! We are so proud of you!
