A HOLD is called when a situation inside the building exists where the school or local emergency responders need to keep students and staff in their classrooms and away from an incident or activity.

Students:

  • Clear the hallways and remain in room or area until the "All Clear" is announced.
  • Classroom business as usual.

Staff:

  • Close and lock door.
  • Account for students and adults.
  • Conduct classroom business as usual.
