Thomas Jefferson Middle School - TJTV crew and the American Sign Language Club

Tamara Byrne, School Principal, and Charlie Fabrikant, Assistant Principal, present the TJTV crew and the American Sign Language Club. 

TJTV, led by Ms. Katie Burns-Wojtalewicz (LIT), produces its daily morning announcements as well as special features. Students create content using a variety of tools, including GoPro video and photography, WeVideo, Canva, Google Slides, and music production software. Opportunities are available for students of all skill levels, both on-air and behind the scenes.

ASL Club, led by Ms. Beth Mackens (School Counselor), offers students the chance to learn and practice American Sign Language. Activities include introducing themselves, learning colors, numbers, weather, songs, and games. Students have also learned to sign the Pledge of Allegiance.
