What is the Daily Five you may ask? Well the Daily Five is an approach to differentiated reading instruction whose goal is to prepare students to become independent readers. This research- based approach was developed by Gail Boushey and Joan Moser.
Students work daily on improving their stamina in the many skills and practices necessary to become proficient readers.
Based on their target areas, we practice reading to self, reading with/to someone, working on writing, word work and listening to reading.
