Parent orientation has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, and is for parents/guardians only; students are not expected to attend. Parents will have an opportunity to visit their child(ren)'s classrooms, meet their child(ren)'s teachers, and learn what their child(ren) will be studying this year. More detailed information, including times, will be available soon.

Marion Jordan also has been recognized by the United States Department of Education as a No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School in 2005.
