D15 E-Flyers
District 15 has gone "green" in it's approach to distributing community flyers. Rather than sending flyers home with students via backpack mail (which previously only took place at the elementary level), flyers are now posted on the D15 E-Flyers webpage for all to view or print 24/7. A limited number of flyers are also available in the school's flyer rack for students or parents to pick up (if an organization chooses to provide them).
It is estimated that this will save nearly 2,000 "man hours" per year spent sorting and handling the materials, not to mention the number of trees and other resources saved.
Reminders to parents to view the E-Flyers webpage appear in the district's newsletter Connections, which is sent home to all families each month during the school year. Links to the E-Flyer webpage also appear in monthly e-mails to parents. Parents can also sign up to receive bi-weekly e-mail notification of new flyers posted to the E-Flyer webpage (see below).

Want to receive bi-weekly e-mail notification of new E-Flyers posted to the Web? It’s easy to be added to the notification list!
- In the “Sign-up to Receive D15 E-Flyer update notification” box (right), enter your e-mail address and press GO. (If you are already a D15 E-News subscriber, you will be sent an email asking you to update your profile.)
- Under “Your Interests” choose “E-Flyer notification,” make any other updates to your profile, then choose “Save Profile Changes.”

To Post a Flyer on the webpage
Those wishing to submit information to be posted must do so electronically by emailing a completed D15 E-Flyer Request to Post Form and a PDF of the flyer to Emily Dix (dixe@ccsd15.net) at the District 15 Educational Service Center at least 10 days in advance of the desired posting date.
