New Board Seated, Officers Elected
 The District 15 Board of Education seated three new members at the May 5 meeting, while saying goodbye to three former members.
Sworn in for the 2009 term were (pictured L-R) Mark J. Bloom, Peggy Babcock, Timothy Millar, and Richard L. Bokor. The new board went on to elect Dr. Gerald Chapman to another term as board president and elected Mr. Bloom as board vice president.
The board also named June Becker as recording secretary.
Before the new board members were seated, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Daniel Lukich and the Board members said goodbye to Nancy Lee Carlson, Kelly Keenan, and Wendy Rowden. Ms. Carlson had served on the board since 2001, and Mrs. Keenan and Mrs. Rowden both served for one four-year term.
