Plum Grove Junior High Students Honor Veterans
Seventh- and eighth-grade students at Plum Grove Junior High will recognize and honor the nation’s veterans in a Veterans’ Day observance hosted by the Plum Grove Student Council on Friday, November 10, in the school’s multipurpose room.
Two assemblies—one for eighth graders at 8:45 a.m. and a second for seventh graders at 9:32 a.m.—will feature patriotic music presented by the school’s choir and bands, Veterans’ Day remarks and multi-media presentations.
Students’ family members or friends who are veterans will be special guests of honor and will receive a gift from the school and have their photos taken. Teachers who have served in the armed forces will also be honored.
