Walk-in Registration Set for August 2 at District 15 Schools
Walk-in registration for students who will be attending District 15 schools in the 2006-07 school year but are not yet registered will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at all district schools. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.
Parents who are not certain which school their child will attend may call the District 15 office at 847-963-3000. To register a student, parents must bring their child’s birth certificate and Social Security number, two proofs of residency (driver’s license, gas bill, lease), and the family doctor’s name and phone number.
Parents of students who attended District 15 schools during the 2005-06 school year should have received enrollment information by mail. Re-registrations which have not yet been completed should be completed and returned immediately.
The first day of the 2006-07 school year will be Wednesday, Aug. 23, for grades one through eight; kindergarten and early childhood classes will begin Thursday, Aug. 24. School supply lists for each school are available from the schools and also are posted on the District 15 website at www.ccsd15.net.
