State Releases 2006 School Report Card Information

March 15, 2007

Students in District 15 schools performed significantly above state averages in every subject at every grade level in 2006, according to School Report Card results released by the Illinois State Board of Education on March 12.

The results were based on the Illinois Standards Achievement Tests (ISAT) taken by third- through eighth-graders across the state in the spring of 2006. Individual students’ 2006 ISAT scores were released in February and were mailed to parents by District 15 schools. Overall, 90.1% of District 15 students met or exceeded state standards, compared to 77.0% of students in Illinois.

The tables show the percentage of students who met or exceeded state standards, compared with the state average.

State Report Card data for individual District 15 schools is posted on the district’s Web site.
