District 15 School To Offer Family Anger Groups
Managing anger within a family is the topic for a series of one-hour sessions being offered to parents of District 15 students. The sessions will be presented by Don Sommerville, MSW, Conyers Learning Academy social worker.
The family anger groups will explore the causes, effects, and management of anger. The focus will be on helping parents manage their personal anger as well as anger within the family.
Sessions will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on four Thursdays: Jan. 11, Feb. 1, March 8, and April 5. The location is Conyers Learning Academy, 2800 W. Central Rd., Rolling Meadows. Transportation and childcare will be provided if needed.
