The District Fifteen Educational Foundation Fourth Annual “Hearts of Gold” dinner dance and auction, a benefit for District 15 students, is set for 6 p.m. February 4, 2006.

The black tie optional event will be held at Meridian Banquets, 1701 Algonquin Rd., Rolling Meadows. Activities will include both silent and live auctions featuring items and services donated by area businesses and individuals. Auctioneers will be Toni Kappel, principal of Willow Bend School; Michael Carmody, principal of Gray M. Sanborn School; and David Corbett, director of administrative services for District 15.

Tickets, at $100 per person, are available from the foundation and must be purchased by January 13. For tickets or for more information, contact the foundation at 847-963-3160. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The District Fifteen Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit organization. Since its formation in 1989, the foundation has raised more than $1.5 million for educational programs and materials for District 15 students not fully funded by the traditional tax-based educational system.
