Central Road School to Host Family Reading Night
Students will have the opportunity to come to school in their pajamas on Nov. 17 for a Family Reading Night at Central Road School. Teachers, District 15 officials and community leaders including Rolling Meadows Mayor Ken Nelson will be on hand to read to students and parents beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Nationally known storyteller Chris Fascione will make an appearance beginning at 7:15 p.m. Fascione uses a high-spirited combination of storytelling, mime, clowning, and even juggling to bring to life classical and contemporary children’s literature and folktales.
The Family Reading Night is being held in conjunction with the school’s annual book fair, sponsored by the Central Road PTA. This year’s book fair features a Renaissance Faire theme.
