District 15 Names Two New Principals
Two new principal appointments were approved by the Community Consolidated School District 15 Board of Education at the board’s May 10 meeting.
Brian LeCrone has been named as the new principal at Kimball Hill School, Rolling Meadows, and Earl V. Overman will become principal at Winston Campus-Junior High in Palatine. Both appointments are effective July 1, the beginning of the 2006-07 school year.
LeCrone is currently assistant principal of Carl Sandburg Junior High School. Kimball Hill’s current principal, Mary Zarr, will become the district’s executive director for administrative services effective July 1. LeCrone joined District 15 and Carl Sandburg at the beginning of the 2004-05 school year. Prior to that, he was a mathematics teacher in Lisle School District 202. He holds a bachelor’s degree in teaching of social studies from the University of Illinois, a master’s degree in teaching of mathematics from DePaul University, and an advanced certification in school administration from the University of Illinois.
Overman comes to District 15 from Westfield Middle School in Bloomingdale, where he has been principal since 2003. Prior to that, he was principal and assistant principal of Glenside Middle School in Glendale Heights. Overman holds a B.A. in English from Culver-Stockton College; and M.S. in education administration from Northern Illinois University, and a master’s of business administration from Benedictine University.
