Conyers Learning Academy Plans Anger Management Sessions
Families of District 15 students are invited to attend a three-session Family Anger Group. Sessions will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. March 16, April 13, and May 11. The sessions will be devoted to providing participants with an understanding of anger and methods to assist in managing anger in the family.
Causes and effects of anger will be the topic of the March 16 session; anger management (parent) will be addressed in the April 13 group, and anger management (child) in the May 11 session. Each group is independent; participants can attend any or all groups.
Families planning to attend are asked to call or e-mail Conyers Learning Academy social worker Don Sommerville at 847-963-3450 or sommervd@ccsd15.net before each session listing the number of adults attending and the need for childcare including number of children and ages. Transportation may be provided, but requests must be made one week prior to the date of the group session.
