Author, Holocaust Survivor to Speak at District 15 Schools

Marion Blumenthal Lazan, co-author of a book describing her family’s experience during the Holocaust, will share her compelling story with junior high students at two District 15 schools on January  25. Ms. Lazan will present at 8:45 a.m. at Walter R. Sundling Junior High School and at 12:19 p.m. at Winston Campus-Junior High.

Her award-winning book, Four Perfect Pebbles, is a moving first-hand account of her family’s life from the events preceding Kristallnacht to imprisonment in concentration camps and finally, liberation in April 1945.
