District 15 to Host Quality Workshop

Community Consolidated School District 15 will host a workshop for educators interested in creating a quality educational organization on December 1-2, 2005, at the Joseph M. Kiszka Educational Service Center, 580 North First Bank Dr., Palatine, IL.

The one- and one-half-day workshop, “Charting Your Course: Lessons Learned During the Journey Toward Performance Excellence,” will feature presentations by members of the District 15 administrative team who will share experiences, tools used, best practices, and lessons learned during the Baldrige process. Participants will receive multiple handouts and samples of various materials that can easily be adapted for use in their own organizations. They also will have an opportunity to visit several District 15 schools.

Since winning the 2003 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, District 15 has been sharing its performance improvement experience, strategies, and successes with other school districts and organizations. The December workshop will be the fourth presented by the district.

For more information about the upcoming quality workshop, contact Bob Tenczar, director of communications, (847) 963-3212, or visit www.ccsd15.net.
