Marion Jordan School Plans ‘Fun Walk for Life’
Students, family members, friends, and staff from Marion Jordan School will participate in a “MJ Kids Fun Walk for Life” on May 5 at the Palatine Community Center track, 250 E. Wood St., Palatine. In honor of its staff, students, families, and friends who are dealing with cancer, all proceeds of the walk will benefit the Wellness Place, Palatine, a community-based, not-for profit cancer support center.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk will continue from 9 a.m. to noon. Entry fees are $10 for adults and $5 for students. The first 100 registrants will receive a free tee shirt. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase.
