Pay Preschool Offered Through District 15
Typically developing three- and four-year-old children living within District 15 boundaries are eligible for the Preschool Integration Program (PIP) offered at the John G. Conyers Learning Academy in Rolling Meadows. The PIP program blends preschoolers who have disabilities with children who do not, providing both a chance to learn and play together in an accepting and challenging learning environment.
Classes, which have a maximum of 18 students, are taught by a certified early childhood teacher supported by a team of professionals. Classes meet for 2½-hours Monday through Thursday. Sessions for three-year-olds are from 8:30 to 11 a.m., and for four-year-olds from 12:30 to 3 p.m. On alternate Fridays when classes are not in session, the early childhood staff provides opportunities for parent participation including discussion groups, parent education workshops and parent/child activities.
Tuition is $140 per month, and transportation is available for an additional cost of $300 for the first child. For registration information, call 847-963-3400.
