District 15 Schedules Referendum Information Meetings
Parents and other community residents are invited to attend informational meetings presented by District 15 regarding the February 22 referendum, which seeks voter approval of an education fund property tax rate increase of 48 cents per $100 of assessed valuation. The last time District 15 voters were asked to approve an education fund tax increase was in 1986.
Four separate sessions are scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on January 31 at the four District 15 junior high schools:
Plum Grove Junior High, 2600 Plum Grove Rd., Rolling Meadows Carl Sandburg Junior High, 2600 Martin Lane, Rolling Meadows Walter R. Sundling Junior High, 1100 N. Smith St., Palatine Winston Campus-Junior High, 900 E. Palatine Rd., Palatine
Robert A. McKanna, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools, will coordinate the meeting at Walter R. Sundling, and other district administrators will be on hand at other locations to provide an overview of facts related to the referendum.
