District 15 Names Assistant Superintendent
for Business and Auxiliary Services

Kevin J. Nohelty, currently assistant superintendent of finance for Keeneyville Elementary School District 20 in Roselle, has been named assistant superintendent for business and auxiliary services for Community Consolidated School District 15. Nohelty will succeed Robert J. Strande, who will retire June 30, 2005.

Nohelty has been with the Keeneyville district since 1998 where his responsibilities included handling budgeting and long-term financial plans, managing additions and renovations of three schools and development of a fiber optic network for schools, and creating a long-term technology plan. Prior to joining District 20, he was assistant business administrator at Warren Township High School District 121 in Gurnee, director of transportation/assistant to the administrator of finance in Wilmette Public School District 39, and administrative assistant to the director of special education in Maine Township High School District 207 in Park Ridge.

Nohelty earned his bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Elmhurst College, a master of science in education with a major in school business administration from Northern Illinois University; and his superintendent’s certification from Western Illinois University.

“We are pleased to have found an individual with such excellent qualifications,” noted District 15 Superintendent Robert A. McKanna. “His broad base of experience in various aspects of school administration will make him a valued member of the District 15 administrative team.”
