Central Road Student Earns Perfect Math Score, School Comes in First in State
Sixth grader Arjun Puranik of Central Road School was the only student in the state with a perfect score in the Illinois Math League contest held recently, and Central Road School earned first place among the 224 schools competing in the contest.
Other District 15 schools that placed in the competition were Marion Jordan, fourth; Hunting Ridge, fifth; Gray M. Sanborn, seventh; and Thomas Jefferson, twenty-third.
