Willow Bend to Present ‘Annie, Jr.’
More than 50 third- through sixth-grade students at Willow Bend School have been singing, dancing, and acting daily for the past several months in preparation for the school’s first-ever musical production. “Annie, Jr.” will be staged at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13, and Friday, May 14, in the multipurpose room of the school, 4700 Barker Ave., Rolling Meadows.
“Annie” is under the direction of Collette Todd, music teacher; Gail Soriano, kindergarten teacher; and Jennifer Gardner, fifth-sixth teacher. Set production has been directed by Paul Dombrowski, art teacher, and costumes and props have been coordinated by Jan Belzer, Learning Resource Center teacher, with help from parents and friends of Willow Bend.
