District 15 to Host Two Quality Workshops
Community Consolidated School District 15, winner of the 2003 Malcolm
Baldrige National Quality Award, will host two workshops for educators
interested in creating a quality educational organization. “Charting
Your Course: Lessons Learned During the Journey Toward Performance
Excellence,” a 1-1/2-day coaching experience, is scheduled for
April 29-30 and May 20-21.
Members of the District 15 administrative team, including Superintendent
Robert A. McKanna, will share experiences, tools used, best
practices, and lessons learned during the district’s ongoing journey
to achieve organizational excellence. Participants will get multiple
handouts and samples of various materials that can easily be adapted
for use in their own organizations. They will also have an opportunity
to visit some of the district’s 19 schools to see quality tools
and practices in action.
For additional information about the workshops,
contact Bob Tenczar, (847) 963-3212, or visit www.ccsd15.net/Baldrige/HTML/InfoSharing.html.
Cost of the workshop is $250 per person.
