Willow Bend PTA Receives National PTA Certification
Willow Bend School is one of just 16 schools in the state of Illinois to have earned the National PTA’s “Parent Involvement Schools of Excellence” certification for its outstanding parent involvement program.
Certification establishes the “gold standard for parent involvement,” according to the National PTA. To earn certification, Willow Bend submitted a comprehensive application based on the National PTA’s national standards for parent/family involvement programs. These standards have been endorsed by nearly 100 health and education organizations.
Willow Bend joins three other District 15 schools to have earned certification: Stuart R. Paddock, Virginia Lake and Winston Campus.
