District 15 Schools to Eat ‘Green Eggs and Ham’

Four District 15 schools will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2 with a special lunch menu that features green eggs and ham, like the subject of one of
Dr. Seuss’ most popular children’s books, Green Eggs and Ham.

District 15 Food Services will be offering the special menu at Jane Addams, Central Road, Thomas Jefferson, and Frank C. Whiteley Schools. It will feature not only the brightly colored dish named after the story, but also Yertle the Turtle’s tator tots, Sneeches peaches, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish gummi fish, and Dr. Seuss’ 100th birthday cake.
