Walter R. Sundling Ranks First in Fund Raising for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Walter R. Sundling Junior High School was the top fund-raising school in Illinois in the "Pennies for Patients" drive for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2003. Sundling students and staff collected and donated $8,012.16
This is the fifth year in a row that Sundling has topped the list of the society’s fund raisers. The school was among approximately 300 schools across the state participating in this year’s Illinois fund drive.
