Winston Campus and PTA sponsor ‘Reading Ambassador Day’
A “Reading Ambassador Day,” featuring volunteer readers from local
and state government offices; current, retired and former teachers
and administrators; and representatives of the District 15
administrative offices, is set for 1-1:30 p.m. April 15
at the school, 900 E. Palatine Rd.
The annual event is sponsored by Winston Campus elementary and the
PTA. Among the readers scheduled this year are Palatine mayor Rita
Mullins, State Rep. Suzie Bassi, State Senator Wendell Jones, two
Palatine police officers and a fireman, and many others.
