'Latino Festival' Celebrated at Virginia Lake School
More than 600 persons recently attended a Latino Festival celebrating the Hispanic culture and heritage of families whose children attend Virginia Lake School. The second annual festival, featuring music, food and dance, was sponsored by the school’s PTA.
Festival attendees dined on homemade food including enchiladas, tacos, tamales and more prepared by families and friends in the Virginia Lake School community. Lively music was provided by Fiebre Latino, a disc jockey company owned by Virginia Lake parent Gilberto Vaquero.
