We believe in the district mission statement of producing world-class learners by building a connected learning community. Our diverse student/parent population presents opportunities for our staff to create problem-solving situations in a collaborative learning environment. Stuart R. Paddock is a K-6 learning community of approximately 800 students and staff. Our staff works with students and their families to give all children the opportunity to achieve success academically, socially, and emotionally in an environment of high expectations.

Our students and staff use technology as a tool to foster an engaged learning process by utilizing classroom computers, the computer lab, wireless laptop carts, and smart board technology. Students will connect to the learning community around them by using technology on projects linking Paddock to our community, state, other states, and other countries.

For the 2009-2010 school year all day students (first through sixth grades) will have a number of extracurricular opportunities to participate in. Music (band, chorus, choir chimes, and orchestra), intramural sports, and lunch hour book club are only few of the options. As a school, we work on monthly service projects to benefit a variety of charities and community groups. This helps our students realize the significance, first hand, of becoming a socially responsibly individual.

We strongly encourage parents and community members to connect to Paddock and serve as volunteers in our building to enrich our students’ learning environment. A specific program that CCSD15 offers is the Senior Exchange Program. Please click on the link above for opportunities to work in classrooms, the resource center, or the computer lab, and to learn more about the program its benefits for seniors and students.
