El Comité de Padres Hispanos (B-PAC/ Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee) esta integrado por padres/protectores de estudiantes inscritos en el programa bilingüe, maestros bilingües, consejeros y líderes de la comunidad. Se reunirá 4 veces al año.

El comité participa en el planeamiento, operación y evaluación del programa bilingüe. Adicionalmente, temas importantes relacionados a la educación, el distrito y la comunidad son compartidos.Padres bilingües, maestros y miembros de la comunidad son bienvenidos a participar.

B-PAC 2008-09 Schedule (PDF 98KB)
The Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee (B-PAC) consists of parents/guardians of students enrolled in the bilingual program, bilingual teachers, counselors and community leaders.

The B-PAC meets 4 times a year. The committee participates in the planning, operation and evaluation of the bilingual program. In addition, important topics relating to education, the district and the community are shared.

Bilingual parents, staff representatives, and community members are encouraged to attend. Meetings for the 2008-2009 school year are scheduled for:

  • November 18, 2008
  • March 19, 2009
  • May 19, 2009

Coping Strategies for Families Raising a Child who attends the Early Childhood Program (PDF 77KB)
Please join us for a two-week workshop where we will share experiences and discuss coping strategies for the familiy raising a young child with unique needs. Topics for discussion include techniques for managing stress.

Free Developmental Screenings (PDF 131K)
A free developmental screening for children ages birth to 33 months is offered to families through School District 15's Early Intervention Program.

Date: April 23, 2008

Time: 3-6 p.m.

Where: John G. Conyers Learning Academy, 2800 W. Central Rd., Rolling Meadows
