The superintendent of schools serves as the district's chief executive
officer and is responsible for administering and supervising all
district activities to achieve the goals established by the Board
of Education. The superintendent is responsible for making recommendations
to the board concerning all functions of the school district and
its daily operation, which include business and auxiliary services,
instructional and special services, personnel and human services,
and administrative services.

Oversees student home school attendance assignments, student suspensions,
notification of scheduling and other information to nonpublic schools,
technology programs, informational services, use of housing development
information, emergency preparedness, and student services. Also
serves as ombudsman, and participates in daily operations of the
district in concert with the superintendent. Oversees Communications, Technology, and Data Services.
