How to Order School Lunch
Elementary School Lunch
Lunches are available to all students daily for $1.90 per lunch (including milk). Teachers will take a hand count each morning for that day’s lunch. Milk can also be purchased for 35¢ or by using a P.I.N., if money has been deposited in your child’s account.
All students have a P.I.N. (personal identification number). If your child was using a P.I.N. last year, that number will not change. These numbers are given to students on the first day of school. Each student inputs their number on a keypad at the end of the serving line and their account is automatically debited and the new balance is shown. Our program allows for automatic fund transfers among siblings at the same school. Please contact your school lunch coordinator if you would like to take advantage of this.
Students who are approved for free meals will have the price automatically calculated for them so they can participate daily. They also must raise their hands during the morning count. A student participating in the free or reduced-price lunch program will need to have cash available or deposited in their account to purchase a second lunch or an additional milk. This payment should be made in advance. Students’ eligibility for free or reduced-price lunch is confidential.
Schools that currently allow á la carte purchases with the P.I.N. will continue for 2007-2008. Spending limits can be set by contacting the lunch coordinator at your child’s school. You can also contact the lunch coordinator if you choose not to allow any á la carte or second lunch purchases.
All meal payments must be made in advance. Payments can be made with cash, check or by using our Web-based payment system.
If paying by cash or check:
- The first payment of the school year should be mailed to your child’s school prior to the first day. Please mark the outside of the envelope “School Lunch.” DO NOT send payments to the District office at 580 North 1st Bank Drive.
- Send payments—cash and/or check—to your child’s school in an envelope marked “School Lunch.”
- Include student’s first and last name on both the check and envelope.
- Please make checks payable to “CCSD15 School Nutrition Services.”
- Payments may be made any day before 9:00 a.m.
- If you are paying for more than one student at the same school, please designate the amount for each child.
- Please be advised that there is a $25 fee for all returned and N.S.F. checks.

Junior High School Lunch
Each day there are multiple lunch choices available to our students for $2.00.
All students have a P.I.N. (personal identification number). Returning 8th-grade students at the same school will use the same P.I.N. as last year. These numbers are given to students on the first day of school. Each student inputs their number on a keypad at the end of the serving line and their account is automatically debited and the new balance is shown.
This program has several advantages. Students are able to purchase á la carte items using their account instead of cash. Unless we are notified, a student may use their account to purchase lunch, á la carte, or both. This software also allows for automatic fund transfers among siblings at the same school upon request. Spending limits can be set by contacting the lunch coordinator at your child’s school. You can also contact the lunch coordinator if you choose not to allow any á la carte or second lunch purchases.
Students who are approved for free meals will have the price automatically calculated for them so they can participate daily. A student participating in the free or reduced-price lunch program will need to have cash available or deposited in their account to purchase a second lunch or any á la carte items. This payment should be made in advance. Students’ eligibility for free or reduced-price lunch is confidential.
Please be advised that á la carte service (other than milk) begins August 27, 2007.
