District Fifteen Educational Foundation

The mission of the District Fifteen Educational Foundation “is to acquire resources to be used for programs and projects to enhance and supplement the educational experience of District 15 students.”

Community members who foresaw the need of Community Consolidated School District 15 to provide for private financial investment in education established the Foundation in 1989. The Foundation is an autonomous 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization directed by a volunteer Board of Trustees from the District 15 community. To date, the Foundation has invested more than $1.7 million to advance the educational experience of District 15 students.

The Foundation sponsors the following events:

  • Various “Family Day” activities, including:
    • CoCo Key Water Resort
    • Schaumburg Flyers
    • Chicago Rush Arena Football
    • Chicago Wolves
  • “Hearts of Gold” Dinner Dance & Auction
  • LEGO League
  • Read-O-Rama/Walk for Education
